How to Drive Targeted Visitors to Your Website

There are many ways to get traffic to your website. Each of them work somehow but most of the time this traffic is definitely not targeted. Before we go further into what is working well and won’t cost you a dime let us summarize a view ways of getting traffic:

- Traffic-Exchanges

Pros: You receive free visitors when you sign up and you do not have to spend any money for additional visitors. You can join hundreds of them for free, and you can sign up affiliates under you to get some additional traffic. Or you just click, and click, and click, and so on…

Cons: Although this traffic is a cheap one, most of the time it is non targeted traffic. Unless you are a programmer or a company who has something to offer for any webmaster, this traffic will not help you very much. I would say it is almost a waste of your time. There are better ways for traffic generation.

- Safelists

Pros: You can join them for free and most of them allow you to mail to a selected number or all other free members of this list every 5-7 days, some more often, some less.

You can upgrade to Pro and send out an email each and every day.
You can make some little money if you sign up some other member trough your affiliate link.

Cons:
Oh my god, you get tons of emails. If you join let’s say 100 lists you can expect an avalanche of emails towards your email account. Within a view days you can gather a view thousand emails if you do not delete them each and every day or let them be deleted at your account. Maybe Safelists work for some people, but for most they do not.

With all the automated Safelist submitters everyone is pushing out his mail, but nobody reads it. So another waste of time and capacity, and if you have bad luck you also get troubles with your web-host because of the high numbers of emails.

- Ezines

Nearly the same problem as with Safelists, but maybe more targeted and you have to spend some money to send out your ad to responsive Ezines. This might be a good way for someone who has a good advertising budget and some advertising experience (knows how to write perfect ads, etc.) but for someone who is new to marketing on the internet this might be too expensive and risky.

- Blogblasters, Adsubmitters, etc.

They may have worked in earlier times but today they are almost ineffective as most of the blog owners now activated the “avoid comment spam” option, so the blasted ads land in the nirvana, but not on the blogs. Also the risk of getting accused for SPAM is too high for my opinion.

Now, there are some additional ways to generate traffic like PPC, JV’s (Joint Ventures), SEM (Search Engine Marketing), etc. But I do not want to get into detail regarding these methods now, because I want to show you how you can get targeted traffic almost for free with the help of:

- Article Writing

You might think it is difficult to write an article, but it took me about 15 minutes to write all the above sentences. Some experienced writers may be faster but it does not matter for me, because I do not have to write 10 or more articles a day. So speedwriting is no need for me.

Now I will share some tips with you that can help you to write maybe your first article.
I do not pretend to be a copywriting genius but what works for me may also work for you!

- Decide what you want to write about.

This way you will be able to get some focus for any topic you choose.

- Create your headline.

This will be some like the final decision of which topic you choose and also like a start into the right direction.

- Start writing the first part of your content

Do not think too much about how to find the correct words. Just start and write. It is more important to start than be a perfectionist from the beginning!

- Keep your mind open for new inspirations

At some part you may not know exactly how to continue, so take a deep breath and follow your inner voice. This will help you to find the correct words and continue easily.

-Take off all your pressure

As I mentioned above, there is no need for perfectionism in the beginning of article writing. Just start and get the word out! This is the most important thing. With your experience you will be able to write better articles within a short period of time.

- Celebrate when your article is finished

Hey, you did a great job! You can be proud of your work. It may not be perfect, but nobody is perfect! Even the well known copywriters make mistakes, although they are much more experienced than you, because they already have written maybe hundreds of articles!

- Now take a break and let someone else proofread your article.

This gives you the chance to get some valuable feedback. There may be also some mistyped or misspelled words that you did not recognize.

If you do not have someone for this part, write your article within a good word processor.

A good word processor also has a build in spell- and grammar checking engine.

This is something very important. You might not be one of those writing genius but you should cover the basics in writing and that is not too difficult.

Last words:

It took me about 30 minutes to write this article. It may be not perfect but I think I covered almost anything I could do within a personal limitation not to write more than 1000 words. 30 minutes may be long, but for me it’s o.k. as I have to check some words in my dictionary as my mother language is German and not English.

So if a German speaking Austrian can write an article in English You can too!!!!
Good luck with your articles. They will help you to achieve a higher Google PR and also some additional, targeted traffic. Write more articles, distribute them to the free article directories and the avalanche of traffic is on its way!

Back Door Access for Players Only

This is all *insider* information (for real, and no hype).

It has been a partially well-kept secret that Kiosk is
relaunching it’s hosting service, and wrapping in 3+ other
services in September, under the GVO name.

It’s an all-in-one service that we would normally promote anyway:
Kiosk Hosting, Autoresponder, Easy Video Producer Video service,
and Hot Conference. This is Filsaime’s, Cheney’s, Frank Bauer’s
hosting company (and most of the big boys).

Like before this will have a viral component, where the emphasis
IS on the product, and NOT the opportunity, BUT there will be
money to be made for anyone who gets in early.

That is because of the 2×10 matrix. Lots of potential residual.
It only costs a dollar to sign up at this time to lock in a
place, here at the top. (nice for a change, eh? to be in at
the onset of one of these?)

*************************************************
I already had $170 in residual income from ONE day
BEFORE I even promoted because I got in at the top!
*************************************************

If you get in under me, you could get massive spillover from
Todd Gross, Mark and Joel and ME!

Filsaime and the others will promote in September but only two
others got early links in June, and now two friends of MINE,
Mark and Ken are working with GVO’s Joel Therien.

Mark and Ken and Joel (and his partner Mike) they have gotten us
in “at the top”, and placed us strategically in a perfect position.

This is kind of like insider trading but it IS legal.

Even if you are using Kiosk now, it is recommended you join with
this link to secure placement near the top of this launch. (Email
me if that is the case so I can hook you up with Mark)

Here’s the link:

**************************************************
http://immarketingcentral.com/recommends/GVO
**************************************************

Like Kiosk, it is expected that folks who sign up will have
a very long longevity with this system. When you promote it,
and get sign-ups of folks that want the family of services,
they are really locked down for a good long while, great for
residuals.

Imagine if your subscribers were on this plan… how many would
quit if they had their leads in the autoresponder and all of
their websites on the server? Not many.

Right place, right time.

There has already been “spillover” in just the few hours
this has been around. If you don’t know what spillover is,
use your imagination, it is just what it sounds like
(top down).

Todd Gross, Ken Reno, Odinn Sorenson, Steve Yakim, Micheal Savoie,
Jeff Davis, Mark Lareau, Keith Carberry, and so many brilliant
marketers have just signed on in the past few hours.

Again, here is the “literal” insider $1 link to secure your
place, you’ll be able to see your downline grow before this
even launches.

Creating Your Ebook

Today we are going to jump right in to the steps you need to take to create the content for your new ebook. A lot of people find this very daunting but it doesn’t have to be and I’m going to share the secret to creating your own product super fast?

In this lesson I will explain how to find good solid content for your project and have a killer product written within a day!

This method is great because you don’t have to waste hours performing painstaking research to write your next best seller. All of the research has been done for you! All you need to do to find good quality content for your ebook is know where to find it! The first place you should go is Ezine Articles: http://www.ezinearticles.com

Ezine Articles has thousands of articles that you can use for the content of your product. Keep in mind you should not copy people’s articles but you can by all means take the main points from an article and re write it in your own words. The only hard part is that it requires some editing and writing, but if you stay on track and you should be fine!

Now let’s go to Ezine Articles and type your search term in the search box. This will return a list of all the articles in the database. I recommend that you use the advanced search option so that you will get the best results. You can find the  “Advanced Search” feature on the side of the page about halfway down.

When searching try to use the exact phrase of your main keyword for instance I typed in “Dog Potty Training” and Ezine articles returned these results:

Showing results 1 – 25 of 100000 for Dog Potty Training

As you can see where I have highlighted on the picture above there are 100,000 articles on this topic! You could write thousands of chapters if you wanted too, but you only need 5 or 6!

Now it’s time to begin collecting content for your ebook. Start by finding 3  to 4 good articles on each topic that you have chosen for your chapters. Now, in the folder you created earlier create a separate sub folder for each of your chapters and copy and paste 4-5 articles for each chapter that you can use content from!

As I said before you should not copy someone’s articles word for word, but you can use the ideas from them to create your own.

Now you should have everything that you need to do is start writing your ebook. If you did not find much to work with on Ezine articles here are some more top article sites that you can use:

http://www.goarticles.com

http://www.articledashboard.com

http://www.searchwarp.com

You can also find more specialized information by performing a forum search in Google for your topic. This will bring up all the forums to do with your niche so if you are looking for some more in depth info you can find it there here is what you do to do a forum search:

· Go to http://www.google.com

· Type in your phrase/chapter and forums in the search box

For instance I typed in “Dog Potty Training Forums” and Google bought back 1,300,000  results which should be plenty enough   for every chapter for a Dog Potty Training product!

You can also use forums if you need a specific answer to a problem that you cannot find anywhere else. All you need to do is sign up as a member of the forum and ask your question and you will get answers!

When you are doing your research in forums it is a good idea to say “Hello” and introduce yourself first and add a bit of content before you start asking for help.  It does not need to be anything special just tell them about your “dogs” or what ever subject it is.

Creating Your Product

There are lot’s of different products that you can create but for the purposes of this short course we will create an ebook and I will show you how to write a brilliant one even if you do not have a clue about the topic!

The reason that you should create an ebook as your first project is it is without a doubt in my opinion the easiest product to get started with!

If your niche really takes off you can always come back and create an “add-on” product like educational videos, or an online course as an up sell but to start off with focus on an ebook. So let’s get started:

First thing we need for our ebook is chapters. How do you know what chapters to put in your ebook? Well you need to know what people want answers too within your niche so for this we head over to Yahoo Answers.

http://answers.yahoo.com/

Yahoo Answers is an excellent resource to see what people are wanting answers to within a market. It is an awesome tool to find out what the chapters or sections of your ebook should be. So all you do is type in the market phrase you have decided on into the search bar for instance “Dog Potty Training” so I will type this in, here is what comes up for me:

From the example it is hard to see, but there is 1,266 results for the phrase “Dog Potty Training”. What you need to do know is search through the results and see what the main questions or subjects that are bought up are. For instance for my example one of the topics that comes up a lot within “Dog Potty Training” is the question “Should I smack my dog when potty training?”

The answer to this question by almost everyone is a big resounding NO! So taking the example I would think about entitling on my chapters “The 4 Reasons Why You Shouldn’t Smack Your Dog While Potty Training!”.

The amount of chapters you pick for your ebook is dependant on how many different questions are being asked but you should aim for about 5 or 6 chapters with good content.

More on how to get the content next, for now find 5 or 6 questions that are being asked and make a note of them as these will be the chapters of your ebook.

The top 5 issues I found for “Dog Potty Training” was:

· Should I Smack My Dog When Potty Training?

· Is It Right To Shout At My Dog When Potty Training?

· Should You Use A Crate When Dog Potty Training?

· What’s The Best Routines To Potty Train My Dog?

· What Is The Best Way To Potty Train An Older Dog?

There was actually a lot more for “Dog Potty Training” but for your first product just focus on 5 or 6 main questions and save the questions in a notepad file and put them in the folder you made earlier.

These will be the main subjects or chapters for your ebook and all you need to do know is make a good title for each chapter and obviously add content to each chapter. For the start of your book always start with an introduction where you can tell them who you are and what you are going to tell them.

This does not have to be too long however a nice little story will go down well.:)

For the title of your Chapters I find that catchy titles following the top reasons routine works well.

So for instance you could entitle the first chapter

“The Top 10 Reasons Why You Should Not Smack Your Dog While Potty Training And The REAL Secrets You Must Know To Do Successful Potty Training!”

As with every other step do not get too caught up on the titles of the chapters as you start to put content in your Ebook you can always go back and change them.

I find these three guidelines help:

· Try to think of a catchy title that grabs their attention

· Use words like “Secrets” or “Never Revealed Before” To Spark Interest

· Also use the top 10 reasons methods or 10 thins NOT to do  when training your dog, as it is easier when you go to write your book!

So to recap you should know have 5 or 6 questions that your product is going to answer and have thought of how to put them into catch chapter names.

As I say this does not have to be a masterpiece just think of 5 or 6 chapter headers that you are going to tell them the answer to. This will give you a focus for the content that you are going to create.

The Importance of Keywords

Every website and blog is governed by the keywords it contains.  Organic search engine placement is determined by the use of niche keywords.  Search engines use spiders and robots to crawl through websites on a regular basis.  They identify websites and categorize them according to the content that the site contains.  If you want to be found in search engines by certain search terms, you must make sure that your website or blog contains those words in your content.

It may seem simple at first; just add a few of your selected keywords to your website and you’ll get the search engine placement you want.  It’s not that simple.  Too many search words or keywords are considered Spam and can get your site removed from the top search engines.  You must use your keywords appropriately and within context for the purpose of your site.  Using keywords correctly will increase traffic to your site and ultimately increase sales.

If you use Pay Per Click advertising you’ll need to learn the best keywords for your site, as you will be buying these words.  There are several excellent tools available online that will help you monitor and track the most important keywords for your site.  Researching the best keywords is one of the most important steps that you can take.  It will ensure that you are creating content needed for organic search placement, as well as help you determine the best keywords for your Pay Per Click campaign.  Google AdWords and WordTracker are two excellent programs that you can use to determine the best keywords for your site.

Some important points to remember is that you should always use the plural form when choosing keywords.  For example if you choose E-book and not E-books, your site won’t show up if someone searches for E-books.  If you use E-books, your site will show up if someone searches for the term “E-book” because the word E-book is within the plural form E-books.  Also, use keyword phrases and not just keywords, and include them in your site’s Meta Tags as well.  Keywords are essential to your affiliate marketing campaign choose them wisely.

Creating Your Own Product

There is a lot of information on the web on how to create your own products but not many of these sources provide a clear and concise step by step plan so that you can get your product out there and making money in the shortest time possible!

So that is what I am going to attempt to do here. I am confident you will have your very own killer product that will bring in sales for years to come.

In this first lesson let’s talk a little about why the right mind set means a lot when it comes to creating your own product.

The hardest thing I’ve found and probably many other people find to when they get started with any aspect of Internet Marketing is all of the hard work it involves.

I am not sure how you got interested in Internet Marketing but if you were like me you have probably been pulled in at some point, by all the websites out there that promise untold riches for 5 minutes work!

Don’t get me wrong this is indeed possible, but in my experience not when you are getting started. It is indeed a reality if you have a list of 3,000 responsive buyers that you can send out an email that will make you thousands of dollars within a few days.

Although to start off you need to create that product and build that list and unfortunately that will require some good old fashioned research and elbow grease!

So you will need the correct mind set and I am not going to write pages and pages of motivation for you, except to answer the number one question that stops people taking action or makes them give up in my experience.

I know this question comes up and can be very hard to overcome because I have asked myself the same question plenty of times when I was getting started with Internet Marketing. Here is the question or questions I found myself asking when I was getting started:

“Is this going to work?”
“Is all this work worth it?”
“Will my product sell?”

These are the three main questions that I found myself asking when I was creating my own product.

Well take it from me the answer to all those questions is “Yes it really does work!”.

If you follow the steps within this course you will see that Internet Marketing does not have some secret formula!

All you have to do is see things through to the end, have the ability to follow a series of steps and probably most important take action!

Whether it takes you 5 days or 5 weeks to follow these steps see them through to the end and I guarantee you will achieve success online!

Once you create your own product and once that is pulling in money you can do the same thing over and over to build a virtual empire.

3 Things to Pay Attention to For Better Search Rankings

SEO refers to search engine optimization. It is a process to increase the organic search rankings of a website. There are millions of searches being done online. People search for almost every imaginable thing from how to care for their pets to how to make money from home etc.

While searching, people enter some words or phrases in the search box. These are known as keywords or key phrases. A website owner’s aim is to have high rankings for a lot of important keywords related to the site’s niche.

The advantage of high rankings is that you can get thousands of free visitors to your website without spending a dime on advertising. And this traffic will keep coming to your website automatically as long as your site is still ranking high on the search engines.

What’ more – your site will be getting visitors even while you are sleeping, eating or enjoying time with your family. In order to enjoy all these benefits, we need to optimize our website in a certain way so that it stands a good chance of ranking highly in the search engines. Each search engine is different and gives priority to different factors.

It may be almost impossible to optimize our website keeping all the search engines in mind. Thankfully we don’t have to do so. If we focus on just the top 3-5 search engines, it should be sufficient for us to get thousands of free targeted visitors.

Start Your SEO Efforts from Here:
Let us discuss 3 important areas you have to focus on first in order to optimize your website for higher rankings.

1. Pay Attention to Title: Each webpage has a title. What you place between the title tags is very important from SEO point of view. You should place your most important keywords which you are targeting in the title. The keywords should be placed in the title is such a manner that it should make sense to humans also.

Our webpage titles should appeal to search engines as well as human visitors. If your title is just a bunch of keywords without much sense or appeal, then people will may not click to visit your site even if you have a high ranking in the search engine.

2. Pay Attention to Header Tags: Header tags are like subtitles of your page. Again header tags are important from human as well as SEO point of view.

Header tags should also contain your important keywords so that the search engines understand what your page is about. These header tags are also important for human visitors to your website. If someone is just scanning your article, he/she can read through the subtitles to decide whether the article is of their interest and deserves to be read further or not.

3. Pay Attention to Content: Your articles should be of good quality and useful to the reader. They should serve some purpose.

The article should contain your important keywords written in a natural manner so that it makes complete sense to human readers also. If you write high quality content and spread your important keywords throughout the content then stand a good chance of impressing the search engines as well as human visitors.

These are the 3 most important parts of your webpage you should pay attention to if you want to gain high search rankings. The benefits of top rankings are immense. So start paying more attention to your article titles, subtitles as well as the actual content.

If you do so then you can reap the benefits in terms of good search rankings as well as high conversions from website visitors. There are many other factors that need your attention in order to improve site rankings, but all efforts should start from here. You should first and foremost try and optimize your content then worry about other factors.

Niche Research

There are no guarantees that you will make money with your product, however if you follow this it should make you 99% sure that there is a market available for the taking! Before we begin I highly suggest that you make a folder on your Desktop to keep all your work together. Just call it your “niche name” product for example “Dog Training Product”.

Now to find out if you will make money from your product we need to ascertain that all the people are searching for your 5 phrases are buying as well! There are many different ways to do this but this is the way that I recommend because it’s easy and effective.

First of all go to http://www.google.com and type in your top phrase (the one with the most searches) for instance I would type in “Dog Training”. Once you have typed in your main phrase the first thing you should look at is the number of search results the query has.

For example at the time I am writing this there are 37,200,000 results for the phrase “dog training”. This is a lot of results and that normally means there is a market for dog training products. The next thing you should do is look at the number of Adwords ads the phrase has.

These are the mall ads on the right side of your search results page.  Basically the more profitable a market the more people will bid to place their ads. If your search returns a page with few or no Adwords ads on it. Drop that topic and find a new one because chances are good that no one is buying in that market.

Now all you need to do now is type each one of the five phrases you picked earlier and make a note of:

1. The number of search results
2. How many people are buying Google Adwords for that phrase.

The next thing we need to do as mentioned above is get a rough idea of how much people are willing to pay to be there on Google Adwords as this is a good indicator of how much money is in a niche!

Also make a note of what the Adwords are selling as this is a good indicator of WHAT people are buying in the niche and this can help you with your product creation. For instance what is the top Adwords Ad?

For the dog training niche it is:

Tropical Dog Training
Achieve Behavior that will impress.
Serving South Florida

Bear in mind this is not necessarily the best product to copy although it will give you an idea of what people are selling in the niche. However the above is just something to bear in mind, when you have checked out the search results for each one of your phrases and the competing ads we need to know how much people are paying and for this we will use a site called:

http://www.spyfu.com/

Spyfu is a site that lets you see what sort of money people are spending on Google Adwords for their phrases. When you go these all you need to do is type in your main phrase into the Spyfu search bar and it will display the information we want.

You will need to do this with each of your phrases but I will go through the process with our example phrase “Dog Training”. SpyFu bought up this information for the phrase “Dog Training”

Cost/Click: $0.82 – $3.41
Clicks/Day: 62.4 – 79.0
Advertisers: 20
Cost/Day: $51.46 – $270.00

You will receive more info showing the Google Adwords ads but we are only interested in the top bit as shown above. Let me explain what this data means and how it is relevant:

Cost/Click: This tells us the average cost to the advertiser per click, so you can see that the average advertiser is spending $0.82 per each click. The higher amount is the better as if they are spending a lot of money per click they must be getting sales! (normally anyway!)

Click/Day: This shows us the average amount of clicks per day an advertiser is getting on that phrase. If this is high it is better also as it means people are searching for information on that phrase.

Advertisers: This shows the number of advertisers bidding on this phrase. Ideally this number should be lower than 20 as it means that there is more than 20 different competing Google Adwords and if you can find a good niche with low competition then this is better. Don’t worry too much about this though as if it is high you can get people to promote your product!

Cost/Day: This shows the total daily cost to all advertisers that bought this keyword/phrase this just shows you how much an advertiser is prepared to pay to stay at the top. Normally the more the better, as if the advertiser is willing to pay more than they must think the keyword is profitable!

So all you need to do is go through each of your 5 keywords and see the results using this tool. Ideally you will be looking for all the figures to be high and the competition low (lower than 10 competing ads can be a goldmine!).

However as long as people are spending money and there is a market there you will make money 99% of the time!  Also you should now start thinking about narrowing down your niche for product creation using this tool.

For example I have been focusing on the keyword “Dog Training” however it is a good idea to focus on an actual topic within a subject like “Dog Potty Training” in my example.

This is not always the case but does mean you can focus in on one point and will be easier when creating your product and more targeted.

Here is the results for “Dog Potty Training”:

Cost/Click: $0.61 – $1.95
Clicks/Day: 1.58 – 2.00
Advertisers: 20
Cost/Day: $0.96 – $4.00

As you can see from the example above this phrase is a lot more focused and is still very competitive.

However although it is saying we would only receive approximately 2.00 clicks per day if you created a product on how to potty train your dog you would get more sales than if you created the same guide and bid on just the phrase “dog training”.

Does that make sense? You should find a niche this way that tells people how to solve a problem or offer some solution.

So for this example I will settle on the topic “Dog Potty Training”.

If you are having any problems with this part then just send me a quick email and I will help. Also don’t get too caught up on this just take each of your 5 phrases type them into Spyfu and note the results and see how much people are spending to be there. Then select a phrase that solves a problem or that is more focused! So I have settled on the phrase “Dog Potty Training”.

Finding Profitable Niches

This is one of the most talked about subjects in Internet marketing and can be like the search for King Solomon’s mines.

The good news is it really doesn’t have to be that difficult and you can find profitable niches with ease it just requires you to think slightly outside the box. This step is the exact method I use to find profitable niches and is pretty easy to do! The first thing you need to do especially with your first product is find a niche that interests you.

This is not always the case and there will be plenty of profitable niches that you do not really interest you at all, but with your first product it is a good idea to find a niche that you have some sort of interest in. It will make the job easier for you.

If you are having difficulty thinking of a good niche that you have interest in, the best thing to do is think about your hobbies. Just think of things that you enjoy doing like cooking, playing computer games, fishing, DIY, Ebay, collecting stamps etc…

The other thing I should mention here is try not to spend too much time thinking about this as it can prevent you from taking action!

Ok, so once you have got your niche the first thing you need to do is see if it is profitable and people are looking for it!

Remember don’t spend too much time on this just think of something you have an interest in and move on to the next step. The next thing you need to do is determine how many people are searching for your niche.

To do this you will need a good keyword tool like the one found here: http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com

There are many more that you can use and you can find them by doing a quick search for “keyword tool” in your browser. But for this course we will stick with the one above because it’s fast, free and easy.

Now, perform this test. Go to the link above and type in your main topic, for instance dog training.  When you click the button you will see a list of the top keywords on that  topic plus how many times the words have been searched for.

By performing this search you will be able to get a good idea if the niche you are interested in is a popular one with lots of people looking for products related to it.

Keep in mind that your niche search results should have more than 1000 searches per month at the very least 500. This is a rough estimate, but it will still give you a good idea of weather or not you should move forward in that niche.

If you did the test above you’ve seen that the top main phrases associated with dog training are:

free dog training tips
dog training collars
in home dog training
dog training collar
dog training tips

At least at the time I am writing this. Result will vary. So you should now do the same with the topic of your choice and pick the top 5 phrases that are being most searched for in your niche.

If you followed the above steps and your niche has less than 500 searches per month then you may want to find another because it may not be worth putting the work in to creating a product on that topic if there are so few looking for it!

So if you have a very small niche, try and think of another niche with more search results.
